Royal Gentlemen Gala Dinner & Congress Awards to Take Over the Historic Ca’ Sagredo During Venice Film Festival

Venice has always understood that true elegance needs no introduction. On 11 September 2026, that philosophy will shape an exceptional evening on the Grand Canal as Thomas Misse, Marek Harmony and Anna Stukkert bring together the Royal Gentlemen Gala Dinner and Congress Awards at the historic Ca’ Sagredo.

Created as an intimate celebration of La Dolce Vita, the gathering will unite international personalities from business, culture, philanthropy and public life within one of Venice’s most remarkable historic residences.

Royal Gentlemen Club, represented by Thomas Misse and Marek Harmony, will host the evening, while Anna Stukkert, founder of the Congress Awards, will present the awards programme recognising individuals whose work and influence have achieved international resonance.

Rather than following the familiar formula of a large-scale gala, the organisers are creating an evening built around atmosphere, conversation and discovery. Black Tie, candlelit historic interiors, music, art and jewellery will form the setting for a carefully selected circle of guests.

A Venetian Palazzo with the Soul of a Museum

The choice of Ca’ Sagredo is central to the character of the event.

Rising directly from the Grand Canal, the centuries-old palazzo is not simply a luxury hotel. Recognised as a National Monument, Ca’ Sagredo preserves the atmosphere of a Venetian noble residence and an extraordinary artistic heritage within its walls.

Its monumental staircase, frescoed rooms, historic salons and collection of artworks transform a walk through the building into a journey through different chapters of Venetian history. The legacy of the Sagredo family, whose members were passionate collectors, remains visible throughout the residence.

For this reason, the palace can be experienced almost as a private living museum, where art is not separated from everyday surroundings but becomes part of the architecture itself.

For guests of the Royal Gentlemen Gala Dinner & Congress Awards, the venue will become part of the programme rather than merely its backdrop.

A special experience is being prepared exclusively for the evening, allowing guests to discover the palace through a combination of artistic moments, music, presentations and encounters woven into the historic surroundings.

The intention is to create a private Venetian journey in which the atmosphere of Ca’ Sagredo gradually reveals itself over the course of the night.

Venice at Its Most International

The timing places the gala at the heart of one of the most important weeks on the international cultural calendar.

The 83rd Venice International Film Festival, taking place from 2 to 12 September 2026, will once again bring the global film industry to the lagoon. Actors, directors, producers, international media, photographers and cultural figures will converge on Venice and the Lido for premieres, screenings and private gatherings.

Against this backdrop, the Royal Gentlemen Gala Dinner offers a different rhythm.

Away from the scale and intensity of the traditional red carpet, the evening will bring its guests inside a historic Venetian palazzo for a more intimate interpretation of international society and Italian Art de Vivre.

Congress Awards and International Recognition

Recognition will form an important part of the programme through the Congress Awards, founded by Anna Stukkert.

Created as an international platform celebrating achievement and influence across public life, entrepreneurship, culture and philanthropy, the Congress Awards will honour selected personalities during the Venice gathering.

Among the expected laureates is Eric Adams, the 110th Mayor of New York City, who served from 2022 to 2025. His public career has also included service as Brooklyn Borough President and New York State Senator.

The presence of Adams brings an additional international dimension to an evening designed around dialogue between different worlds, from culture and business to civic leadership and philanthropy.

Philanthropy as Part of the Evening

The philanthropic dimension will be represented by Alisa Roever, founder of Angels Helpers Foundation.

Her participation reflects an important element of the gathering: recognition is not limited to professional visibility or individual success. The evening will also highlight people whose work extends into charitable initiatives, social responsibility and community engagement.

Within the historic setting of Ca’ Sagredo, philanthropy will therefore sit naturally alongside culture, art and international recognition as one of the themes connecting the evening’s guests.

Rezeda Kalimullina as Special Guest Singer

Music will become another part of the Venetian narrative with a special appearance by Rezeda Kalimullina.

With 25 years of stage experience and recognition through international music competitions, Kalimullina brings together soul, jazz and pop through a powerful and expressive vocal style.

Her artistic development has included mentorship from multiple Grammy-nominated American vocalist, pianist and composer Karen Edwards, whose career has included performances with Stevie Wonder, Prince and Tony Bennett.

Kalimullina’s performance is conceived not simply as entertainment between programme moments, but as part of the atmosphere of the night.

Oliver Weber Collection Brings Dolce Vita to Jewellery

Venice will also provide the inspiration for the evening’s jewellery presentation.

As Official Jewellery Partner, Oliver Weber Collection will present its new Dolce Vita Collection, conceived around the visual language of Venice: reflections on water, historic architecture, Carnival, light and the city’s unmistakable theatricality.

Designed in Austria, the collection introduces new Swarovski® crystal colours while continuing the brand’s characteristic combination of femininity, precision and refined craftsmanship.

Presented within the historic rooms of Ca’ Sagredo, the collection will create a dialogue between contemporary jewellery and centuries-old Venetian interiors.

One Night Inside La Dolce Vita

For Thomas Misse, Marek Harmony and Anna Stukkert, the Venice gathering is conceived as something more personal than a conventional gala.

The palace, its art, the Congress Awards, live music, jewellery and the international circle of guests will become parts of a single experience.

For one September evening, Ca’ Sagredo will open a window onto a particular vision of Venice, one where history remains alive, elegance is expressed through detail, and meaningful encounters matter more than spectacle.

It is this idea that defines the Royal Gentlemen Gala Dinner & Congress Awards: La Dolce Vita not simply as the theme of an evening, but as a way of experiencing Venice itself.
